2012 marks the 40th anniversary of full diplomatic relations between China and the UK. The China UK Development Centre (CUDC) is founded in the same year with the mission of providing a platform for the development of Sino-British leaders in the business & public sectors, high-tech entrepreneurs and young talents of the two countries.
Actively supporting the three-year action plan signed between China and the UK in 2012, CUDC established a range of sustainable partnerships for governments and educational institutions. We aim to continue to build long-term and mutually beneficial collaborations with new partners. Please refer to the Partnership page for more details.
One of our goals is to be the leading provider of private education. As an old Chinese saying recites: it’s better to travel 10,000 miles than to read 10,000 books. CUDC firmly believes that students will grow and benefit from travels with immersions in prestigious universities. We have arranged exchange visits for China-UK youths to broaden their horizons, and to experience the East-West differences. These experiences will in turn stimulate their interests to learn each other’s language and culture, to feel the diversified histories of civilizations in the world, which will help them to spread their wings in the future and adapt to a sharp competitive environment filled with international talents.
