China UK Development Centre devotes to provide the platform for collaborations between educational institutions from China and the UK. Together with Oxbridge Colleges, CUDC organises annual education forum and invites all partners to discuss about the challenges and future developments of public and private education, in order to provide guidance for policy makers.

 

Review: 2013 International Education Cooperation Forum/ Global SJTU forum, organised by SJTU alumni association in the UK and CUDC

In July 2013, the first ‘International Education Cooperation Forum’ was held in Cambridge, UK to discuss topics about collaborations in research and education. A total of four panels based on Higher Education subjects (Engineering, Management, Pharmacy & Biochemistry, Medicine) were organised, with eminent invited speakers from both University of Cambridge and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), such as Daping Chu, Brendan Burchell, Martin Jones, Simone Hochgreb, Robert Partridge, Wei Lv, Xiaojing Ma, Yan Wang, etc. Zhen Huang, Vice President of SJTU and Richard Penty, Master of Sidney Sussex College of Cambridge, were also invited to address opening speeches.
